Content
We will discuss topics ranging from the biological visual system to
modern technical vision systems.
The seminar topics will focus on structure and function of the
mammalian visual system. Basic principles from the biological vision
proccess, that bear the capability to enhance modern technical vision
systems will be presented. State-of-the-art technical approaches to
high level vision will be discussed with respect to, and in comparison
to the biological role model.
The talks are scheduled for 45 minutes each, plus 15 minutes for
discussion. Each talk has to be accompanied by a written report of 8 pages.
